I love this place ,its clean and organized . The staff are nice and friendly. The sweets are always fresh and sooooo tasty with lots of options to choose from. My favorite is the raspberry danish ! I have been there lots of times and it's definitely worth to try !

Can't believe I haven't reviewed this gem before. I've been coming here for over 30 years and still come back even though I don't live locally anymore. It's changed owners several times but the baked goods are still exactly the way I remember them. The mango mousse cake is the best, pro tip order ahead and get one of the larger sizes. The danishes, muffins, and cookies are all solid choices as well. Parking can be challenging but it's worth it.

Omg this was an amazing experience. This bakery is in a cute little neighborhood of Berkeley. Not fancy looking but the most amazing cheese Danish I've ever eaten in my life. I'm not a pastry person but I love a great Danish and this was it. Life is more amazing after consuming this beautiful morsel.

A pocket-sized bakery in the Hopkins/Monterey neighborhood. They have tasty coaster sized cookies, freshly filled cream donuts, muffins, croissants, and cinnamon morning buns (my personal favorite, better than Acme). There is also a display of tartlets. It's a great place for fresh to-go items if you are in the neighborhood. I would like to return some time when I need a baguette.

Their fruit basket is so good and if you have any leftover for the next day? It's so much better. My office gets all their birthday cakes from there. I thought I get my brother in law a cake for his birthday. It was a hit! The service on the phone was quick and straight to the point. He answered my questions and it was ok to pay upon arrival for pick up. Parking in front is a hit or miss. But I've been lucky the times I've been there.

I love this little bakery. Their cases are filled with inviting looking desserts and pastries. They are only bakery I know of that makes Anzac biscuits which are popular in Australia and New Zealand. It is essentially an oatmeal cookie with the addition of coconut. The biscuits I am used to have a crispy texture, but their biscuits are chewy and just as delicious. They are quite large so I often split them in half to enjoy over a day or two. The last time I went in I noticed they were offering hand pies so I snagged a mushroom and cheese. I brought it home and ate it cold, but they would benefit being warmed or toasted first. The pastry was flakey and the filling was delish. The folks behind the counter are super. Easy pay with cash, cards and (I think) Google and Apply pay. Will have to verify next time around and update.

TLDR: great service, beautiful display, well-made cakes! Hey, take my review with a grain of salt, or maybe sugar. As a gluten-intolerant picky eater, I was just here for moral support as my partner chose the proper cake for her mother's birthday. While the baked goods are my forbidden fruit, or in this case, delicacy, I can say that the appetite of my eyes were satiated, looking at the beautiful pastries looking back at me through the display glass. Too tempting! Also, the service clerk was honest about his own favorites and recommendations based on the information we gave him.
